10 binge worthy shows to watch on Netflix as a college student

Hey guys, welcome back!
Last week was Stevenson's spring break, which means that I had a full week to binge watch shows on Netflix. So, I figured that I would share with you my top 10 shows to binge watch at any time.

1. The Haunting Of Hill House
If you're into dark and mysterious shows, then I highly recommend giving this show a watch. Just take cautious because this show has its frightening moments. 5 young siblings grew up in a seemingly haunted house, which ended up leaving a lasting effect on the whole family. Now as grown-ups, they are forced back together due to a tragic event. Together, they are forced to relive their past hauntings and to deal with the lasting effect that the Hill House left on them.

2. Mindhunter
If you're into murder investigations like I am then you'll really enjoy this show. Rather than focusing on the grotesque violence, this show takes a look at the psychological side of murderers. Agent Holden Ford and his partner Bill Tench, go around the country interviewing serial killers, in order to understand what factors led the killers to commit in the act of killing.

3. The Office
Jim and Pam
The Office has to be one of my top favorite shows. To me, its one of those shows that you can watch whenever and not get bored. The staff of Dunder Mifflin, which is a paper company, are being documented. It's not your typical documentary though because the staff themselves are unique in their own ways.

4. Stranger Things
The Cast Of Stranger Things
Don't let the fact that this is a sci-fi show deter you from watching it because it really is a great show that's worth your time. It's an easy and enjoyable show to get into, which also happens to have a comedic presence. To sum it up, Stranger Things deals with a group of kids, alien like creatures, a secretive and evil government agency, and eleven.

5. Parks and Recreation
Ron Swanson
Parks and Recreation is yet another one of my favorite shows. It also happens to be one of those shows where you can watch it whenever and however many times you want without getting bored of it. The show focuses on Leslie Knope and her coworkers, who work at the Parks and Recreation department. It depicts Leslie striving to make her fictional town, Pawnee, better. It may sound as if it has a simple plot but the actors and directors really do a great job of making the show into something comical and worthwhile.

6. Arrested Development
Lucille Bluth
Arrested Development is yet another show that you can easily binge watch, it includes dialogue full of jokes. The show focuses on a wealthy family that essentially loses everything due to their fathers fraudulent actions. It's up to Michael Bluth, who is the most reliable out of the whole family, to put them back together and to get them back on their feet.

7. Grey's Anatomy
Meredith Grey
If you're looking for a show that has an endless amount of seasons and episodes, then this is the show for you. Prepare yourself for tears though because this show gets very emotional and brutal at times. The show follows a group of doctors, who happen to work at Seattle Grace Hospital, and the struggles they face as young and upcoming doctors.

8. Black Mirror
Black Mirror
Black Mirror is unique within itself because every single episode tells a different story. None of the episode relate to one another. So if you wanted to start watching in season 3, episode 10, you can. To sum up the show itself is a difficult task because it address a variety of thing. One theme that is consistent throughout the show is modern and near future technology and the affect that it can have on us as a society.

9. Seven Seconds
Latrice Butler
Seven Seconds happens to be a truly heartbreaking masterpiece. It depicts current issues that America as a country is currently dealing with. The show follows a story about a black 15 year old boy who is hit by a white police officer and is left in the ditch bleeding until he dies. The show explores the aftermath of the accident and how the town and the family deal with the death of their son.
10. You
You
If you're looking for something romantic to binge watch, then this is the wrong show for you. Sure, this show does have love interests through out it, but the show essentially follows a young bookstore manager who becomes obsessed with a young writer. He starts stalking her and it gets to the point where he does the impossible in order to gain and maintain her love and attention.
