Top 10 Student discounts to use!
When I say that I’m a broke college student and laugh, its
really not funny. Its just sad, honestly. I work part time. I’m a full-time
undergraduate student with a minor tacked on while also working part-time
towards my masters degree. Im raising a puppy. I’m involved on campus. I
workout while trying my best to eat healthy. And I’m trying to maintain a
decent social life without completely ghosting my family. So, when you say you’re
broke and busy and overwhelmed, I get it. I really really get it. Utilizing
these discounts will hopefully lighten the stress of the being broke part of
life.
Top student discounts you should be taking advantage of:
If you don’t have this app, I’m not sure
what you’re doing with ya life. Kidding, but seriously this app is great. If
you read my first post, you can probably tell I’m an avid gym goer so their
offer for 10% off of Gymshark is life saving for me. Some other good brands
they have discounts on include Hunter, Romwe, Redbubble (this is where I get
all my laptop stickers), Puravida, and Juicy Couture.
If you’re an art major, or any
major that may require use of design or photo editing products, I promise you
this student discount will be your biggest money saver. Normally all apps in
the Creative Cloud would cost you $39.99 per month, but students (and teachers)
only pay $19.99 per month
This is another killer app that I
personally use all the freakin’ time for the discounts they offer. Again,
hooking me up on my fitness apparel with their 10% off Under Armour and 15% off
adidas. My biggest reason for loving this app though is 20% off of American
Eagle. There are so many other great discounts like GoPro, Bed Bath & Beyond,
Kate Spade, etc. I really recommend downloading this app!

Cars
I know most of us are coming to
college driving our first cars, which is fine, until it takes a shit on you and
you’re stuck looking for a new car. General Motors, Ford and other vehicle
brands are here help out students and recent graduates with money off of new
cars.
5.
Insurance
Many car insurance companies such as StateFarm, Farmers, Allstate, Nationwide, USAA, Liberty Mutual, & Geico offer
student discounts!
I’m not sure how I used to survive before I
discovered Amazon Prime. Students get their first six months for free, then get
half off of their membership!
7.
Music Subscriptions
Apple Music or Spotify??? Honestly,
it doesn’t matter because they’re both throwing some fantastic deals our way!
Apple Music gives you your first three month free then 50% off your
subscription! Spotify Premium has teamed up with Hulu and SHOWTIME to give you
all three subscriptions for only $4.99 per month!
Ohhhh my, we both know none of us
are making it through college without Microsoft Word, Excel, or Powerpoint. We
also know that this doesn’t come installed on that MacBook you convinced your
parents you NEEEEEEEEEDED for college, but no fear I’m about to hook you up!
Microsoft offers Office 365 for free to college students. This means you are able
to download Outlook, OneDrive, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, SharePoint, Microsoft
Teams, Yammer, and more for no cost at all. Life = saved. You are welcome.
I love me a nice new tech product
but also, I cant afford them without a good ole discount so Best Buy is here to
help us out! All you have to do is sign up for Best Buy Student Deals and you’ll
be able to view monthly offers. Also, do not forget that Best Buy price matches
so you never have to wait to get the best deals. They’ll even match warehouse
stores such as Costco as long as you have your membership card with you. I got
$60 off of a brand-new apple watch recently by price matching!
Like I said under #8, we both know
we all told our parents that it was basically required that we get a Macbook
before college. Apple offers special education pricing on Macs, Macbooks, and
iPads! Keep an eye out though, deals are usually better before the school year
as they’ll even throw in some free Beats headphones with your purchase. And ya
know ya girl only uses beats in the gym!
