whats up y'all?? My name is Rachel. I am a junior business communication major with a minor in photography and masters in communication studies at Stevenson University which is a small private college in Maryland. I have a puppy named Nova. I was born and raised in Baltimore County, MD by a single mom who means the absolute world to me and we have a maltipoo names Cody at home. I'm a Baltimore Ravens, Baltimore Orioles and Washington Capitals fan. Hey everyone, welcome to the blog. I am a freshman at Stevenson University, where I will be studying marketing for the next 5 years of my life. Among the few things I enjoy are lacrosse, PC building/gaming (ESPORTS), politics, and analyzing various fields of business (Marketing, Accounting, Economics etc).

I was originally born in Cairo, Egypt and lived there for about 7 years. I then moved to Baltimore, MD with my family and I've been here ever since. I am a huge supporter of small businesses, so when I realized just how many small companies are in the athletic apparel market, I immediately needed to try out a few of them.  I wanted to get some opinions of them from other college students so that you guys didn't just get my point of view. I always post fun stuff. Nothing too serious but this week, I want to get serious. As a freshman in high school, I experienced a school shooting. I was in the room. Then, I was in an unhealthy relationship for a few years following. I came in to college never acknowledging that I was struggling with any mental illness. At all. I didn’t even understand people who would say that they were struggling with anxiety - I just couldn’t grasp the concept. Fast forward to my sophomore year of college. I was going to volunteer to walk dogs at my local humane society. I debated even leaving the house. The thought of going was unbearable and I cried for 10 whole minuted prior to forcing myself to go inside.
